Is there a difference between the extra bed in the yacht club standard room listed as a twin pullout and the garden view room that has a day bed? Or are they the same thing?

Hi Mary! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by and asked this great question.

Disney's Yacht Club Resort is my favorite resort to enjoy when vacationing at the Walt Disney World Resort! I think you will love it! There are many different room types to choose from with many different views and bedding accommodations. I would be happy to help explain the differences between the two room types you are interested in! The main difference to note between the Standard View and Garden or Woods View rooms is the view itself. Beyond that, the bedding accommodations can vary and if you have particular needs related to the sleeping arrangements, you can make a request. The twin sleeper chair is different from the day bed. More often than not, the rooms we have stayed in here have a day bed versus the twin sleeper chair. My son has slept on the day bed before and said it was very comfortable!

As you are planning your stay at this beautiful resort, I wanted to mention a couple of things. I highly recommend planning to spend time at Stormalong Bay. In my opinion, it's the best pool out of all of the resorts in the Disney Resorts Collection! This resort also offers amazing dining options and you can make advanced dining reservations up to 60 days before your arrival date. My personal favorites are Ale & Compass Restaurant for breakfast and Beaches & Cream Soda Shop for lunch or dinner!

One of the great benefits of staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel is that you can enjoy Early Theme Park Entry at every theme park, every day. As a Deluxe Resort Hotel guest, you can also enjoy Extended Evening Theme Park Hours at select theme parks on select nights!

If you have more questions, we have answers at planDisney! We would love to help you plan all of the details for your vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

    Happy Planning!
    Smiles,
