Hi there, Kristina - welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks for stopping by to ask a question for our team of panelists. We love to help Guests just like you plan your very own, very magical, Walt Disney World Resort vacations!
Kristina, the Walt Disney World
Dolphin,
Swan, and
Swan Reserve are unique hotels that many Guests love to call home during their Walt Disney World Resort vacations. For me, one of my favorite parts of staying at one of these three properties is their close proximity to
EPCOT! The Swan and Dolphin are conveniently located along the shores of Crescent Lake, and the brand-new Swan Reserve is nearby - just a short walk from the Swan. These locations provide easy access to both EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios via complimentary water transportation or a lovely walk! I have to tell you, at the end of a long day at EPCOT, it's a treat to have a short walk home!
The Swan and Dolphin are very similar options. They do have some different amenities and both offer a variety of different room types. I do know people who have preferences for one versus the other, but to be honest, they're both great options. The Swan Reserve, on the other hand, is definitely a step up to more luxurious accommodations! There are multiple room types available, including a variety of suites, all with modern furnishings, and floor-to-ceiling windows that offer some great views. While you'll have a bit farther to walk (if you choose to walk), it will be worth it! There are also exciting new dining options, including delicious Mediterranean flavors at
Amare.
So, in sum, you can't go wrong with any of these options in my opinion. Plus, even though these Hotels are not Disney-owned or operated, you still get to enjoy many of the benefits of staying at a Disney Resort, currently including
Early Theme Park Entry and
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours (on select nights)!
I hope this information is helpful, Kristina! If you do end up staying at one of these Hotels, be sure to spend some time at EPCOT - the new
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind rollercoaster is a blast to ... and from ... the past!
