What is the difference in the Disney Visa Photo Pass perk and the Memory Maker one day?

    Hi Bruce,

Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! Not only can you earn Disney Rewards Dollars by using your Disney Visa Card, but you can also receive select perks while you’re in the theme parks.

As a Disney Visa Cardmember, you have some extra special photo opportunities in the theme parks. Daily from 1:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. you can visit the Disney Visa Photo Spot in EPCOT next to Journey Into Imagination With Figment for a Disney Character Photo Experience. In Disney’s Hollywood Studios, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. stop by the Star Wars Launch Bay in the Animation Courtyard for a Star Wars Magic Shot. To access these photo spots, you must show your Disney Visa Card for entry, so make sure you bring it with you! You will receive a complimentary download of these photos through your My Disney Experience account.

You can also receive discounts at select dining and shopping locations, and discounts on select recreational experiences with your Disney Visa Card. These discounts are subject to change, so I recommend checking DisneyRewards.com before your visit to see if there have been any updates.

Memory Maker One Day allows you to download all your Disney PhotoPass Service photos and videos from one day of your vacation. This includes any photos taken by PhotoPass photographers or attraction photos you receive in the theme parks. If you’d like the PhotoPass photos from your entire vacation, you’ll want to purchase Memory Maker. If you purchase at least three days before your vacation, you can purchase Memory Maker at a discounted price.

Personally, I highly recommend purchasing Memory Maker. I love having vacation memories to look back on, especially as my kids are growing up. We like to stop at any Disney PhotoPass photographer we see as we're walking between attractions. And don’t forget to ask if they have any Magic Shots available! We love looking through our photos at the end of each day to see what or who shows up in our photos!

I hope this explanation was helpful, Bruce. Don’t forget to take your Disney Visa Card with you so you can take advantage of the perks! If you’ve got any future questions, visit me again at planDisney!
