What is the difference between a children's check meal and a children's meal? If you are on the dining plan are you limited to one or the other?

    Hi Karen,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I've spent hours reading menus for Walt Disney World restaurants when planning our vacations to make sure there is something for everyone, including my kiddos. There are so many great options to choose from!

The Mickey Check is a great way for families to quickly choose a kids' meal that meets Disney Nutrition Guidelines limiting calories, saturated fat, sodium and sugar, according to the Disney Parks Blog. In other words, if you are looking for a healthier option for your little ones, those meals with the check are the meals for you!

In terms of the Dining Plan, all kids' meals are treated the same whether or not they have received the Mickey Check. We love splurging on a few treats when on vacation, but I also appreciate knowing there is a healthy option for my kids when we want it! Learn more about the Mickey Check on their official website.

I hope this answers your question, Karen. Wishing you a magical Walt Disney World vacation and hope to see you real soon!
