What is the difference in character dining and premium character dining?

    Hi there, Maria!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I hope you’re getting excited about your upcoming visit to the Disneyland Resort!

If you’re planning to use prepaid Character Dining vouchers during your vacation, there are two Premium Character Dining restaurants available at this time offering hearty buffet-style meals. One is Goofy’s Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel, where you’ll find an all-you-care-to-enjoy smorgasbord that includes Mickey waffles, PB&J “pizza,” an omelet station and a whole section devoted to kids’ breakfast favorites during brunch. At dinnertime, selections include a carving station, a catch of the day, a full dessert bar and more. Disney’s PCH Grill at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel offers the Surf’s Up! Breakfast with Mickey and Friends, another Premium Character Dining experience that features build-your-own-parfait stations, signature flatbreads, smoothies and more.

Other Character Dining options currently offered include “Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park” at Plaza Inn inside Disneyland Park, and the Chip ’n Dale Critter Breakfast and the Storytellers Weekend Character Brunch Buffet at Storytellers Cafe, which is located at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.

Reservations for all Character Dining experiences are highly recommended and can be made up to 60 days in advance by calling Disney Dining at (714) 781-3463. Bon appetit, Maria! Please visit us again with more questions as your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth approaches.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
