what is the difference between a 2 bedroom villa and a 2 bedroom villa lock-out?

Hi Patricia! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. A standard 2-bedroom villa at most Disney Vacation Club resorts will accommodate up to 9 people so there's plenty of room for a large family with at least 2 bathrooms, a living area, a washer/dryer, and a fully equipped kitchen.

A 2-bedroom lock-off villa is essentially a 1-bedroom villa that is connected to a deluxe studio villa, so you'll get 2 very separate quarters. You can choose to keep the adjoining door open or closed. You have several choices, some of my favorites include Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village, Wilderness Lodge Villas, Disney’s Old Key West Resort and Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa.

Sending you Pixie Dust for happy planning!
