What is the difference in the 2 bedroom family connected suite and the 2 bedroom Junior suite at the Disneyland Hotel and what towers are they located in?

Hi Irene! Welcome to planDisney! Sounds like you're planning a very special visit to the Disneyland Resort. I'm happy to help answer your question and get you on your way!

I spoke with a friendly Cast Member at the Disneyland Hotel who shared with me that the difference between the 2 Bedroom Family Connecting Suite and the 2 Bedroom Junior Connecting Suite is the room configuration, as the 2 Bedroom Family Connecting Suite is a bit larger and can accommodate an additional bed and sleep up to 10. Both of these particular suite types are located across all towers of the Disneyland Hotel and your suite assignment will be determined by your booked party size and suite availability on your check in day.

For more details on all the room and suite types at the Disneyland Hotel, visit the Disneyland website. The pictures will also help you get a lay of the land, as well as give you a peek into the magical theming.

But trust me, whichever suite you choose, Irene, you can't go wrong!

Our family absolutely loves the Disneyland Hotel! Open just a few months after Disneyland Park in 1955, the Disneyland Hotel holds that incredible Disney history with today’s modern style. You’ll be transported to paradise another world away, yet still only a five-minute stroll to the monorail station and Downtown Disney District.

During your stay at the Disneyland Hotel make sure to request a wakeup call from your favorite Disney pals, slide down the iconic monorail water slides, and please don't forget to check out the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad diorama in the Frontier Tower Lobby. The diorama was built to a 1/4" to 1' scale of Frontierland's famous coaster and is a recreation of the original model used by Imagineers in the 1970s to create Big Thunder. It's incredible and my family, including two young sons, can't get enough of taking in every little detail.

I hope this information has been helpful, Irene, and that you'll be immersed in the magic soon. As you're preparing for your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, please stop by and ask me another question anytime! I'd love to share more of my tips and recommendations for a truly magical time in Disneyland, like maybe my not-to-be-missed quick service snacks or some strategies to make sure you hit all your favorite attractions.

    See you real soon!

    Warmest wishes,
    McCayla
