    What's the difference between Bayou Pirate Adventure & Albatross Treasure Cruise? I would like to know what happens on each so I can compare them. Staying @ POR & prefer the Bayou Advent but 9yr olds 1st choice is Albatross 2nd choice is Bayou Adve

    Hi there Tammy!

    My kids have enjoyed all of the Pirate Adventure Cruises at Walt Disney World over the years. The only one they both wanted to do again not only a second time but even a third time was the Albatross!

    While all the cruises are great fun for the kids, the story lines and locations of the cruises and their 'stops' on land do vary somewhat.

    The Bayou takes place around the Port Orleans property areas along the Sassagoula River.
    The Albatross leaves from Disney's Yacht Club Resort marina and makes its stops around Epcot's World Showcase Lagoon. From what my kids have explained to me (since I can't accompany them ON the cruises ... I only have their fun feedback to go on!), the most fun one by far is the Albatross. The Cast Members who accompany the kids on this particular adventure told my kids to 'duck' while they passed through the canal at Epcot's International Gateway so that security wouldn't see them as they 'snuck' into Epcot! My kids found this particularly hysterical and thrilling. The boat actually makes stops inside the park and the kids search for clues in various nations around World Showcase Lagoon. My daughter in particular remembers visiting the Canada pavilion and find one of their clues there.

    They're all fantastic fun and your kids are sure to have a great time no matter which you choose to best suit your vacation plans ... however my kids both chose the Albatross to return to and still talk fondly about it to this day! My now 14 year old daughter just came into the room and agreed that it was definitely the one that stands out in her fondest memories.
