Greetings, Evan, and welcome to planDisney! I like the way you're thinking – a nice, cold drink can power you up between the excitement of attractions, Characters, and entertainment at the Disneyland Resort. You've come to the right place – my sister and I prefer sugar-free drinks and have found some great options in the parks.
While the selection and availability of sugar-free beverages is subject to change, I've highlighted some options below to point you in the right direction for your next visit.
You'll likely find Coca-Cola Freestyle machines in California Adventure near Soarin' and at
Pym Test Kitchen.
GCH Craftsman Grill at the Grand Californian Hotel also has one. These machines offer quite a few choices, even if you don't love soda. I've seen zero-sugar options for Powerade, Peace Tea, Lemonade, and Minute Maid juices. I also appreciate that there are a few caffeine-free sodas to pick from. These machines will give you the largest selection of drinks and flavors.
Over at Disneyland, I can think of a few locations that offer Minute Maid Zero Sugar Lemonade. In fact, most places that offer fountain drinks will likely have it. I've gotten this before from
Cafe Daisy,
Refreshment Corner, and
Galactic Grill, for example. And here's a hint – at these locations, you can
mobile order your drink from the
Disneyland mobile app. That way, you won't have to wait in line, especially if you only want a drink.
A few more ideas come to mind. Little Red Wagon has unsweetened tea. Check the food carts, too – I've seen a zero-sugar energy drink.
Market House and
Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe, both of which serve Starbucks signature beverages, have a couple sugar-free syrup options, if you're in the mood for coffee. I've gotten sugar-free vanilla syrup at
Cappuccino Cart in California Adventure, too.
Now, if you're in the mood for a treat, check out the no-sugar-added butter pecan ice cream at
Gibson Girl or the no-sugar-added vanilla ice cream at
Clarabelle's. They're probably not completely sugar-free, but it's worth looking into!
Evan, I hope this information sprinkled a little pixie dust on your plans. You have some good options! Please reach out if you think of any other questions. We're always happy to help here at planDisney.
Wishing you magic,
Kriss
