Hi Melissa! Thanks for visiting planDisney.
I'm sorry to hear you didn't take advantage of the
Park Hopper option on your Disneyland Resort admission tickets. It probably comes down to a matter of preference in how you explore the parks, but my family always takes advantage of Park Hopper. We like to start in one park, hop after lunch, enjoy some Attractions and Entertainment, and then hop back after dinner for Nighttime Entertainment in the other park. We often let our dining reservations determine which park we're in at different points in the day because dining in the parks is a big part of the fun for us. For some people, it might be Entertainment or another activity that leads them to hop from one park to the next. But we love that flexibility, and it either allows us to do everything on a short trip or builds in variety each day on a longer trip.
But given that you didn't use it over three days, it sounds like you're more of a one-park-per-day kind of person. And that's okay! Unfortunately, according to the current
terms of purchase and use, admission tickets and their associated features, including Park Hopper, are not eligible for refunds. No credit or refunds are given to Guests for the non-use of a portion of their admission ticket, such as only entering one park with a Park Hopper entitlement.
You've learned something about how you enjoy the parks as a Guest, I suspect. I'd simply opt not to select Park Hopper in the future. You might find you're more of a
Lightning Lane Multi Pass and one-park-per-day person! Everyone makes their selections to experience the magic in the way that's right for their group.
Have a magical day.
Elizabeth
