Since I didn’t know who I was going to Disneyland with when I bought tickets and made a reservation both tickets are in my name. How can I change one to the person I’m going with?

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, David!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for stopping by and allowing us to help you plan your upcoming visit to the Disneyland Resort! We want to make sure you have the most MAGICAL time! AND, it looks like you will be visiting in just a few days! WOO HOO! I am counting down the days with you!

So, are you ready for some MAGICAL news?! I am very happy to inform you that you do not have to change the name on your existing Disneyland Theme Park Ticket in order for another person to use that specific ticket. Once you arrive at one of the Disneyland Theme Parks, a Cast Member will take a picture of the person using each ticket. From there, each ticket is then assigned to the person on the picture, not to the name on the ticket. It really is that simple! Don't you just love happy endings?!

I hope this helps you in your planning process! As you know, Mickey Mouse is working really hard to keep all guests safe during the phased reopening of the Disneyland Resort! As more information is released, I would highly recommend following Disneyland on all of its social media channels, and make sure you subscribe to The Disney Parks Blog to keep up with all of the up-to-date Disney information!

If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to call! We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
