Hiya Hazel! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
Ah, you've stumbled upon my favorite topic, dining at The Walt Disney World Resort! I'm a bit of a foodie myself, always excited to try the "next right thing" at my second home. Trying out different table-service dining restaurants is a great way to taste new and exciting dishes. I'm glad you've been proactive in making your
advance dining reservations for your vacation.
Hazel, I have just one thing to say.. Hakuna Matata! It means no worries! When you check in for your dining reservation, you have the option to add one additional Guest. Using the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, click "Start Check In" once your check-in window opens. Here, you'll be able to add up to one Guest, request high chairs and booster seats, and note any allergies in your party. It's as easy as Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!
In the future, it is best to calculate your little Mouseketeer into the headcount when making dining reservations. Though it may seem strange that they can eat off of your plate for no additional cost, it is still best to factor them into the total number of Guests in your party to receive the appropriate seating once you arrive at the restaurant.
I'm sure your plans are coming together for the vacation of a lifetime. I did want to mention a little tip that may make your life easier when traveling with a little one this age. In each park, you will find
Baby Care Centers. These are quiet, secluded areas meant for nursing moms and parents with little ones. They provide an air-conditioned retreat from the crowds and stimulation of the theme parks while offering necessities like diapers, wipes, bottle warmers, and more. Be sure to locate them in each park to make changing, feeding, and resting a bit easier during your busy day!
See ya real soon,
Ashley
