We didn't include a dining plan in our Summer 2009 Disney Package. Are the meals very expensive for a family of four (2 adults & 2 kids)? What do you recommend to save on meals? Is it too late to incorporate a plan into our package?

    Hi Marisol!

Probably the best way to figure this out would be to look at the menus/prices for the restaurants you'll be dining at.  You can find this information in the MENUS section on allears.net.  Once you have your menus mapped out, you should be able to determine if the dining plan will be a cost effective option for you.  You can add the dining plan to your vacation package up to 48 hours prior to your check-in date.

The way I save on meals (and we really do this more to be less wasteful then to save money) is I share a meal at times with my daughter.   If we are on a tighter budget, we will limit our table service meals and opt for more quick service meals.  Another way to save (and adds convenience to start your day) is to have breakfast items in the room.

I hope this gets you started Marisol...please let us know if you have further questions!  Diane  :)
