Ahoy there, Elizabeth! Welcome aboard planDisney! Thank you for sailing to planDisney with your question.
Shiver me timbers! It looks like I didn't catch you before you set sail on your Disney Cruise. I hope that your voyage is off to a fantastic start. By now you know that luggage tags are available with the porters at the cruise terminal. Every so often a guest's
luggage tags do not arrive in a timely manner, and guests are instead accommodated at the port.
It's important to note that the luggage allowance for checked luggage with Disney Cruise Line is limited to two pieces of luggage per guest. You may also bring carry-on luggage onboard. I pack my jewelry, important travel documents, medications, and valuables in this carry-on luggage. I also like to throw in a swimsuit, sunscreen, and hat in my carry-on bag. I like to change and head to the pool shortly after boarding to start relaxing as quickly as possible!
Elizabeth, if you'd like to say "See ya real soon!" to Mickey and Friends, be sure to book a placeholder reservation using the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app while you are onboard. The placeholder reservation can be transferred to a new cruise reservation when you return home. The placeholder can provide an additional discount and is applicable to a cruise that embarks within 24 months of the placeholder reservation date. Placeholder deposits are fully refundable if your plans change. For this reason, I always book one!
Please cruise back to us in the future if you have any more questions. It's a pleasure to help.
Have a wonderful voyage!
