Hi, Lyndsay!
CONGRATULATIONS to the soon-to-be Mom and Dad! There is nothing quite so special as a brand new baby in the family. Wishing you all the best with your new little Mouseketeer!
I did many Disney trips when my kids were little, and the most important thing I learned to do is keep on the baby's schedule. That means nap times, scheduled feedings, and usually early nights. The more you keep on baby's schedule, the easier it will be for all of you.
When visiting the parks, you will need a stroller. I suggest bringing one from home, but you can also go to
stroller rental if you prefer. Once in the parks, locate the Baby Care Centers. I spent a LOT of time here when my kids were babies. The
Baby Care Centers are perfect for feedings, diaper changes, and even purchasing any necessities you need such as diapers or wipes.
Bring a roomy tote or diaper bag from home. Each day, make sure it is stocked with diapers, wipes, a change of clothes, and any other items you normally use such as bottles, sunscreen, or baby toys. You might also want to toss in an extra light weight blanket in case it gets chilly.
Finally, if you and your Prince Charming are looking for a night out, stop by the front desk of your Disneyland Resort hotel to find out about third party
baby sitting services. Perhaps you can go out to dinner, see a movie, or do some shopping in the
Downtown Disney District while your little prince or princess stays cozy and asleep with a baby sitter.
Enjoy this magical visit with your new baby!
