Hi Diane.Saw you answer a question regarding shoes at Disney.We are planning a day @ Typhoon Lagoon and wondering if we can wear flip flops (as it will be hot in August) and then carry our flip flops on the water slides?Or, do we have to use water shoes?

Hello Jana! Welcome back to the panel and thank you for reaching out to me. Water shoes are not a requirement when visiting Disney's Typhoon Lagoon. Flip flops will be perfectly fine and these are highly recommended since you will be climbing stairs to reach certain attractions. Of course, certain attractions will come with their own set of rules, but no worries, Cast Members are always ready to offer advice. One of their main goals is to keep you safe and your feet happy! They know how brutal the hot sun can be on your feet. Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!
