DianeL, another ? I've always done the fantasmic dinner pkg to avoid waiting in line. Now that we have to use same entrance having a reserved seat won't save us the wait in line I'm thinking of cx my dinner reservation as a result. How does it work now?

    Hello again, Brad!

I have to admit when I first heard about the policy change I was also skeptical on how the dinner package can still be an added benefit.  I haven't had the opportunity yet to try the new process but I have read the various chat boards and it seems the results are mixed.

You are right that there is now only one line for stand-by and dinner package guests.  From what I've read, if you do use the dinner package, you should arrive in line at least 45 minutes before the show begins.  Once you reach the CM at the gate, show him/her your dinner package pass and you will be directed to the reserved seating section.

Brad, if I were you, I wouldn't cancel your reservation just yet.  I would wait and let some of the newness of the policy settle in.  I'm sure there will be more reviews on the chat boards and if it helps, panelist Jennifer is going to try the dinner package in June.  You may want to send her a direct question in early July to ask about her experience.  I am hoping to try the package myself in late August, but that will be too late to report back for your early-August trip.

Please let us know if you have further questions!  Diane  :)
