Hi Yvette!
Thanks for your question!
I'm happy to hear you're interested in the Disney Dining Plan, and what it has to offer guests. My family LOVES purchasing the Dining Plan - my husband is so happy to know that he doesn't have to pull out his wallet every time we stop to eat. It's already been taken care of ahead of time...and, saved us money!
For the 2017 Disney Dining Plan - snacks may include a single serving of items such as:
• Frozen ice cream novelty, popsicle or fruit bar
• Popcorn scoop
• 12 oz. coffee, hot chocolate or hot tea
• Prepackaged milk or juice
• Piece of whole fruit
• Bag of snacks (single serving size)
• 20 oz. bottle of Coca-Cola®, Sprite® or Dasani® water
• 20 oz. fountain soft drink
Look for the little purple and white “DDP” symbol (Disney Dining Plan) when choosing which items are considered snacks on the plan.
I have several favorite uses for my snack credits when I visit the parks:
- Main Street Bakery ice cream cookie sandwich or a DoleWhip Float in Magic Kingdom Park
- Butterfinger (or any flavor) cupcake at Starring Rolls in Disney's Hollywood Studios
- Classic Mickey Ice Cream Bar - available throughout Walt Disney World Resort
Wait - I'm seeing a theme here...WOW what a sweet tooth I have on a Disney vacation!
I hope this helps with your planning. Thanks again for stopping by the Moms Panel - have a magical day, Yvette! - Diane W.
