Hi Diane ! We've reserved a table at Cape May's morning at 7.35. Staying at All Star Movies resort. Have you got an idea how we can make the way up there. How long is it to walk from entrance of Epcot to May's ? We'll come last week of August. THKS a lot

    Hi Karin,

Getting to your reservation that early could be tricky.  You won't be able to get there via Epcot.  The bus will let you off at the main entrance, and the entrance close to Beach Club is in World Showcase.  You would have to enter the park through the main gate and walk to the International Gateway to exit the park.  However, Epcot doesn't usually open until 9:00 AM (8:00 AM during extra magic hours) -- too late for your reservation.

You can take a bus to Hollywood Studios and then either walk or take a boat to Beach Club.  I'm not sure of the distance (maybe a little less than a mile), but it seems like it takes about 20 minutes to walk.  The problem is that I'm not sure when the buses will start running in the morning.  Usually it's about 2 hours before park opening -- that won't get you to the restaurant on time.  Of course, stop by the front desk and tell a cast member your situation, buses may leave earlier since it is a popular dining location.  I recommend giving yourself an hour travel time if possible.

A quicker option would be to take a cab.  It may cost $15-$20, but you'll travel directly to the resort, and it won't take as long - 7:00 AM should get you there on time.

After breakfast, it's only a short (5 minute) walk to Epcot's International Gateway.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
