Hi Diane....thanks for the reply. At the moment, we are leaning towards Moderate resorts as we di not feel we will not be in the room often. I lke Pt. Olrleans Riverside, my wife like Coronado. My 6 year old jsut wants the best pool. Thoughts?

Hello again, Michael.  I've stayed at both of the resorts you are considering and I don't think you will go wrong with whichever one you choose.  However, I would give the nod to Port Orleans Riverside for a couple reasons.  First, I love the peaceful feeling you get when you walk around the resort.  The second is a sentimental reason for me as this is the resort where one of my boys found the courage to go down a water slide for the first time - we, as a family had so much fun in that pool!  I also like that there is transportation available by boat to Downtown Disney.  Again very relaxing and just adds to the laid-back feeling you get when staying here.

Coronado Springs is a beautiful (and huge!) resort and the Pepper Market is a wonderful place to dine.  The rooms do have a deluxe feel to them, however, although I enjoyed my stay, this resort does accommodate conventions and I just didn't get the laid back feeling like I did when staying at Port Orleans.  So my choice between the two would be Port Orleans.

I hope this helps with your decision.  Let me know if you have any follow-up questions on your resort choice.

P.S.  If you also choose Port Orleans, make sure you allot some time to visit Yehaa Bob at the River Roost Lounge
