Hi Diane! I saw you answered another question and you mentioned booking a carriage ride... how do I find this and how much would it be? I think that would be a very nice way to end off my vacation this coming Sept. Thanks so much! The Mom's Panel rocks!

Hello Amy - thanks for your question!

There are two places where you can reserve a carriage ride.  The first is at the Port Orleans resort.  The horse-drawn carriage ride departs near Boatwrights and will take you down along the Sassagoula River.  The second is located at the Fort Wilderness Campground where you'll enjoy a scenic ride through Fort Wilderness.

Each ride will last approximately 25-30 minutes and the cost is $45 per carriage (prices subject to change).  Each carriage will hold 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 small children.  For more information or to reserve a carriage, you can call 407-WDW-PLAY.

I hope this helps and I agree that this would be a fabulous way to end a Disney vacation.   Diane  :)
