Hi Diane! This panel is amazing! My question is about viewing fireworks at MK. Can the fireworks be seen from Liberty Square, or would it be a partially obstructed view? Any spots you'd recommend? Thanks!!!

    Hi Sabrina,

Thanks for the compliment on the Panel.  We love helping guests create the most magical vacation possible!

My favorite place to watch Wishes is standing near the train station on Main Street USA.  If you can actually get a seat up on the train station it's even better!  There is something so beautiful when you see the fireworks shoot up high in the sky, directly over Cinderella Castle.  Of course, this is a favorite viewing spot for a lot of people, so it can get quite crowded.

You'll definitely be able to see the fireworks from Liberty Square.  As long as you can see the sky over the castle, you should be able to see them.  However, there are some lower level fireworks that are set off in front of the Castle.  You won't be able to see those, and you won't be able to see Tinker Bell fly across the sky to start the magic.

Having said that.  Liberty Square offers a MUCH less crowded viewing area.  You can often even find a seat during the show.  The reflection off of the water is gorgeous, so there are some definite benefits to catching the show in this spot.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
