    Hi Jennifer --

Thanks for visiting the Mom's Panel!  If your 3 children are anything like mine, they are super excited for your upcoming vacation.

I know that looking at a list of 14 restaurants can seem a bit excessive, but I think the list you've come up with is a good one, and the amount of time you plan on spending in each park is great.

It looks like you are planning on basically two table service restaurants per day.  You'll probably want to plan one breakfast and one dinner each day; otherwise, it may seem as though your entire day is spent waiting for meals.  Also, many of the restaurants you have chosen are buffets or serve family style.  Spacing out your meals will give you more time to work up an appetite in between.

All restaurants at Walt Disney World are family friendly.  Having said that, I don't know if I would take my children to Jiko at the end of a busy day in the parks.  It's what my children refer to as a "fancy" restaurant with a lot of couples trying to enjoy a romantic evening.  My two older boys could handle it just fine, but I would be nervous that my two year old would not be as considerate to other guests.  You know your children best, and the food is absolutely phenomenal -- if they can handle the "fancy" atmosphere, go for it.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
