Hi Diane, I'm from New Orleans. I can relate to you with the vinyl albums/story books. I had my first set in 1973 for Christmas and I would just listen and try to imagine what Disney would be like. I would like info on the Land and Sea Trip.

    Hi Jacquelyn!

I'm so happy to hear from you. Weren't those Disney albums with the storybooks the best? I thought mine were long gone - given away or sold at a garage sale. Recently, I helped my mom clean out a closet and guess what we found? All of my storybook albums, still in pristine condition! I was thrilled that she'd kept them all these years. I came home and played them all on my daughter's "retro" turntable - so fun!

I'm happy to share some info about Land and Sea vacations! A Walt Disney World Resort/Disney Cruise Line Land and Sea adventure is my family's favorite kind of Disney getaway. You'll experience the best of both surf and turf - the excitement of the theme parks combined with the relaxation and pampering of a Disney Cruise.

A Land and Sea vacation can be set up any way you like. You can start with a resort stay, then transition to the cruise, or you can cruise first then visit the parks. You can even bookend your cruise with park visits on both ends (my favorite)! The best way to plan a Land and Sea adventure is to get in touch with an Authorized Disney Travel Planner or call Disney Cruise Line directly at 1-800-951-3532. For a seamless transition from land to sea, make sure to book DCL ground transfers as part of your vacation package. With comfy motor coaches to transport you from Walt Disney World to the port and back, you'll be traveling in style from start to finish.

To check out itineraries, and choose a cruise, visit Disney Cruise Line's official website. Once you decide which cruise is right for you, it's time to plan your Land and Sea vacation. Combining the relaxed elegance of a Disney Cruise with the excitement and thrills of a Walt Disney World Resort visit is the ultimate way to experience Disney at its finest!

Happy Planning - thanks again for stopping by! - Diane W.
