Hi Diane! My husband & 2boys (age5&7) will be at Beach Club May26-Jun2. Thinking of taking advantage of bounce back offer for Apr '11. Will be bringing daughter also next year (will be 3). What room/resort will suit us best?Like beach club, want t

    Hi Amy,

You must be getting so excited for your trip - it's coming up really soon!  Beach Club is probably my favorite resort on property, and I would recommend it as my first choice to anyone.  It has a great pool and some fun restaurants, but my favorite thing about this resort is location.  With easy access to two of the four main parks, it just doesn't get any more convenient.

A lot of guests like to be close to the Magic Kingdom when traveling with really young children.  I understand that, but I still prefer Beach Club.  You can spend the mornings at Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom and come back for a nap.  Afterward, it's a nice stroll or boat ride to Epcot or Hollywood Studios for some great food options and more fun.  When you're exhausted at the end of the night, you can bypass the crowds waiting for transportation and simply walk home - PERFECT!

If you are looking for a change from the Beach Club after this vacation, my second favorite option is the Polynesian.  It has a relaxed atmosphere, great restaurants, easy access to the monorail and rooms that are a bit larger (great for families of 5).

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
