Hi Diane! Help. Peanut allergic son rarely gets a special treat. He wants to go to Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. I see they serve Edy's, which does have safe flavors for him, but they'd have to open a new carton for him. Will they do it? Have never checked.

Hello, Laurie!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

Thanks for submitting your question.  I can only imagine how hard it must be when I know you want to give your son all the special treats he would like, but having to tell him no because of his peanut allergy.  Being a former teacher, it always broke my heart when I had to withhold a treat from a student when all the other students were able to enjoy one.  The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor is a great place and I can certainly understand why your son would love a treat from here.  Unfortunately, I have never inquired about this myself, but not all hope is lost.  Once you arrive at this location, ask to speak to the manager or person in charge.  Let them know about your son's peanut allergy.  Disney is very good about accommodating guests with allergies and he/she will definitely go out of their way to do everything they can for your son.  I cannot make any promises, but I just have a good feeling about this.

Again, thanks for submitting your question.  May your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation be filled with many new and MAGICAL memories. Please come and visit with me again should any new questions or concerns pop-up.  I am always ready to help.

~Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON"!~
