Hi Diane! Follow up question: I noticed Westin has a hotel on/near the Swan resort. My family will be at the Yacht Club (DH has a conference) and my parents are coming too. If they stayed at the Westin could they walk to the yacht club to take bus w/us?

    Nicole,

Hi again!  Your parents can absolutely walk over to the Yacht Club to take the bus with you.  Likewise, you can meet them at their resort and take the bus over.

In fact, the bus that you will be taking to go to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Downtown Disney will make stops at Boardwalk, Swan/Dolphin, and Yacht/Beach.  I actually find it easiest when I'm coming home after a day in the park to get off at the Boardwalk (usually first stop) and walk to my resort from there rather than stay on a crowded bus.

You can also take the boat launch to Hollywood Studios and Epcot from either resort.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
