Hi I have been diagnosed will gallstones and may not have had the surgery but the time we arrive In July. I've been advised to have a low fat diet but worried about my choices in the parkspot and staying at CBR for 10 nights, what can you advise?

    Hi Natalie,

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel. I went to WDW just after removing my gallstones and it is the same diet right after the surgery. The food must be low in fat. The best thing for you is to follow your doctor’s orientation. At all the table service restaurants, ask to talk to the manager. Sometimes the manager brings the chef to your table and you can discuss with him what is the best for you on the menu and I’m sure that he will prepare something safe for you to have. As for snacks and at quick services restaurants, you better have your own snacks with you. You can order some fruits, nuts, cereal bars and low fat strings cheese, low fat cookies and other items at Garden Grocer website. Always keep something with you in case of you feel hungry and don’t find a safe option to eat.

    Have a magical trip!
