I am a diabetic with an allergy to garlic. Do any of the restaurants have deserts for diabetics and should I mention my allergy to garlic?

    We meet again Joan!

You have another great question.  Thank you for asking them here, it is my honor to answer your questions to help you in planning your vacation.

You will find that Walt Disney World is world class in meeting health and dietary needs.  Specifically for diabetic Guests, the desserts are clearly marked as no-sugar added on the buffets and menus.  They are super tasty too!  I have had the no-sugar added desserts on many occasions and enjoyed them greatly.

Since you have a food allergy I would advise you to note on your Advanced Dining Reservation that you are a Guest with diabetes and have a garlic allergy.  This will alert the restaurant ahead of time of your special requests.  It isn't necessary to do this ahead of time, but it could be helpful.  Otherwise just tell the server of your dietary needs.  If you are dining at a buffet, then a Chef will walk you through the buffet and indicate what can be eaten based on your allergies or intolerances.  If you are ordering from a menu then the server will point out to you what items you may consume.

I hope your visit is MAGICAL in every way!  Come back to us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have anymore questions.

    Blessings,
