Hey there, Brittany! Welcome to planDisney!
With Walt Disney World’s
50th Anniversary Celebration in full swing, now is an amazing time to visit! Before you know it, you’ll be strolling down Main Street U.S.A. and fawning over Cinderella Castle’s new garb with your favorite snack in hand.
If you are staying as a Guest in a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can relax and let Disney Transportation handle all the driving during your vacation. But if you prefer navigating your own chariot,
standard theme park parking is included for all Disney Resort Guests. You can also choose to upgrade to preferred parking by paying the difference in cost between the standard and preferred rates.
Both Resort Guests and off-property Guests can select preferred parking when checking in with the Cast Members at the parking lot entrance. While there are probably a limited number of preferred parking spaces, I’m not sure of the exact amount. In my experience, there has always been space in both the standard and preferred parking lots, no matter what time I arrive at the parks.
Remember that your parking pass is good for the entire day across each of the Theme Parks. So if you are planning to park hop, show your receipt to the Cast Member at your second park, and you will not have to pay for parking again.
I hope this helps, Brittany! If you have more questions as you plan, come back by and
ask me!
To Infinity and Beyond,
PG
