My DGD would like to meet Joy & Sadness. I heard there is a meet and greet but that it is not part of the character spot at Epcot. Where is it and what is it called? Is there a Fastpass+ available?

    Hi Jim,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am a big fan of the film, Inside Out, and when I learned that Joy and Sadness would be meeting Guests at Epcot, I experienced another emotion; excitement!

It's true that the FastPass+ Service is not available for this Character Experience, but I must say they are well worth a few extra minutes if you decide to wait in the Standby line.

You'll find Joy & Sadness right across the way from Mickey and his pals in Future World. In fact, you can meet Baymax here as well!

I recommend heading to this experience early in the morning to minimize wait times. You also may want to check the Times Guide in the Park when you arrive or take a peek at the daily calendar on your My Disney Experience mobile app so you know when they will be meeting with Guests.

Wishing you and your family a joyful vacation, Jim! Thanks so much for stopping by.
