Hi Moms! DF and I are getting married and Disneymooning in early December! In your opinion, would you suggest trying to plan our theme park days with the EMH, or do they get busy and we would be ok to go to another direction? Thank you!!!

There are varying opinions on this very topic, Amanda.  Personally, I am the kind of Disney Mom who both uses the extra magic hours and avoids them.  Have I confused you yet?  Here's the thing: I've found that morning extra magic hours are a great perk for Disney resort guests.  Morning crowds are very manageable, made even more so by extra magic hours.  In my experience, though, the extra magic hours park tends to get fairly crowded later in the day.  When we have park hoppers, we tend to take advantage of extra magic hours early and then hop to a different park for the remainder of the day.  When we don't have park hoppers, we avoid the extra magic hour park altogether.  Good luck in finding a touring pattern that works for your family!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
