How do you determine the total for which to base your gratuity on if you are on the dining plan? Do they give you a bill when you have a table service meal?

    Hello Carla!

This is such a great question, and one we get asked a lot.  I know you're going to love being able to take advantage of the Disney Dining Plan.  It's so nice to have your meal budget planned out ahead of time so you can just eat and enjoy.  Don't forget, you can begin making most dining reservations 180 days in advance.

Tipping on the DDP is simple!  At the end of your meal, you'll be presented with a check, just as if you were paying cash for your meal.  The check will indicate your meal total as well as suggested gratuities (parties of six or more will automatically have an 18% gratuity added).  You will be able to leave the tip in any form you wish: cash, gift card, credit card, Disney Dollars, or have it charged to your valid Key to the World Card.

I hope this has helped answer your question!  Please come back and see me if you have any other magical questions!

    Best Wishes!
