That is a great question, Robert! A somewhat common misconception is that Guests need a separate reservation to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Guests do not need a separate reservation for
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. I am happy to share that Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is a part of Disney’s Hollywood Studios! To visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge (which is a great idea), you need a valid theme park ticket and a
Disney Park Pass reservation for
Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Robert, you can always visit the
Disney Park Pass calendar to see which parks have availability! The calendar is a great planning tool! In looking at the calendar I see that all four of the Disney Parks currently have availability during your planned visit in July! However, I see that Disney’s Hollywood Studios does not have availability just the week before! This means that you should really make your Disney Park pass reservation very soon (like now!) Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been the fastest park to get reserved since the Disney Park Pass calendar system started last summer! Get on your My Disney Experience account and make your reservation faster than the Millennium Falcon making the Kessel Run!
Also, you picked a great Disney Resort Hotel! Disney's Pop Century Resort is linked to Disney's Hollywood Studios via the
Disney Skyliner! That will make for convenient transportation! Unless, of course, you have your own shipped equipped with hyperdrive capabilities!
