How ya doin' Chambolyn and welcome to planDisney!
Food is always one of my top priorities and when I'm visiting the Walt Disney World Resort that fact doesn't change one little bit. That place is a haven for snackers of every kind. And there's no better way to please your palate than a stop at the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. With
Global Marketplaces representing countries from all over the world, there are treats for everyone who has the vision(and good sense) to try them. Of course, it can be a bit overwhelming trying to condense it down to what you're actually going to get when you get there. As I have been so graciously dubbed the Snack Queen by my friends, let me share with you my method for choosing my snacks before I ever set foot in the World Showcase. Grab your highlighters and let's make a snack list!
Step One: I copy the list of booths and menus into a word document and print them. I like to have a paper copy to be able to make notes on.
Step Two: Highlight any treats you see that spark your interest at each booth. This may amount to quite a few items but don't get too worried we aren't done yet.
Step Three: From all the delicious items you've picked go in with another highlighter color and star 3 items that stick out to you above all the rest. When you get to the festival these will be the items you track down first. If you still have room to eat, choose whichever booth is closest to you. from your list. If you're too full to go on, at least you'll have hit your major necessities.
Pro-tip: If you're of age and planning on imbibing some adult beverages, I don't care what anybody says, start on the Canada Pavillion side. Margaritas at the Mexico Pavillion at 9 AM will not set you up for longevity. Believe me, I'd know.
Chambolyn, all that's left to do is to eat, drink and be merry! When you're snacking around the world raise a glass to your favorite panelist. And if you have any other questions, you know just
where to find me!
Happy snacking!
