Hi, going to dessert party at Halloween party. Plan is try to go to 1st parade and then dessert party for fireworks. Is this doable? I am confused by the 8:30 check in to be credentialled requirement. Does the whole party have to present at checkin?

Hi Eldonna, and welcome to planDisney.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is the perfect way to embrace the Halloween spirit. Guests with tickets to this special event can enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00 pm on the day of their ticket. When you do so, you will be given a special wristband that identifies you as a guest eligible for all the party perks. I recommend getting to Magic Kingdom Park as early as possible so you can make the most of your ticket.

Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade first runs at 8:15pm, so get ready to see your Disney friends donning Halloween costumes! The parade lasts just over 20 minutes. This should give you ample time to make it to your Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace.

It's recommended that the whole party for the separately priced experience check in at the entrance to Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant one hour before the fireworks begin. On the night of the 10th of October, Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular is scheduled for 10pm, meaning your check-in for the dessert party would start at 9pm. In short, I think your plan is totally doable! You should have ample time to enjoy the bewitching buffet of sweets and sips before enjoying one of the best viewing spots for the nighttime spectacular.

Eldonna, I hope this information reassures you that you can make this spooktacular night your own at Magic Kingdom Park. This truly immersive event, with Cast Members and characters dressed in their Halloween finery and special Magic Shots, it's sure to wow the Hocus Pocus in us all!
