Hi Julissa! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by to send us your question about The Happiest Place on Earth!
World of Color Happiness! is one of my favorite nighttime spectaculars, so I can understand why you would want to make sure your grandpa can see it! Let's talk about your options for seating. I just checked the availability for the
World of Color Dessert Party and also noticed that there are no reservations available at this time for the date you hope to book. I recommend you continue to check for availability in case there are cancellations for that date. While I can't promise there will be any openings, you could also check in with a Cast Member once you arrive that day to see if there have been any last-minute cancellations. If reservations for the dessert party are not available and your grandpa is using a wheelchair or an ECV, there is designated handicap seating for World of Color. This includes wheelchair and mobility device-accessible viewing areas and specific benches, which are first-come, first-served and located in various sections. Be sure to arrive early and speak with a Cast Member upon arrival to be directed to the correct viewing zone.
When you arrive, you can pick up a complimentary first visit button for your grandpa at City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. in
Disneyland Park or at Guest Services in
Disney California Adventure Park. You can also capture the memory of this special visit by having your photo taken by a
Disney PhotoPass photographer. To find photo locations, you can use the
Disneyland Mobile App.
If you have more planning questions, please feel free to send your questions to us at planDisney. We're all ears, and we would love to help!
Wishing you magic,
Lisa
