    I am desperately searching for category 1 seating for MBYBBQ. I check the Disney website daily, and signed up for several reservation finders but I’m not having any luck. We leave in 8 days. Any suggestions on how I might snag this reservatios

    Hi Leigh! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    You are heading to the Walt Disney World Resort very soon! I'm glad to hear that you are working on the final details of your magical vacation.

    My suggestion for getting the Category 1 seating for Mickey's Backyard BBQ is exactly what you are already doing - checking often! I know how frustrating it can be to not find any availability for these popular reservations, but don't lose heart. The cancellation policy states that cancellations must be made at least 1 day in advance in order to avoid the cancellation fee, so keep checking! Someone could cancel up to the day before. If you have Category 2 currently reserved as a back-up, when you arrive to check-in ask if there is any last-minute Category 1 availability as well. I have my fingers crossed for you that something will open up!
