Hello, Karen,
I too am so fond of the
Candlelight Processional. Since 1958, this retelling of the Christmas story accompanied by inspiring music has been such a beautiful tradition of the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. This special event is usually available by invitation only and is therefore typically not broadly advertised. So we are likely not to get additional information until the event is virtually upon us or perhaps even passed. This early on, my advice to you would be to make reservations for both of those weekends then adjust closer on, depending on the cancellation policies you find. But for reference, in 2013, the previous time that the month of December started on a Sunday, the Disneyland Candlelight Processional was scheduled for Saturday the 7th and Sunday the 8th.
Of course, there is so much more holiday joy to be had. My favorite Disneyland Resort holiday memory is participating in the
"Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort" Guided Tour. Our family especially loved the reserved seating for
A Christmas Fantasy Parade, complete with a sweet holiday treat and a cup of hot cocoa! Over in Disney California Adventure Park, the
Disney Festival of Holidays is an exciting multicultural celebration. The delicious foods marketplace and lively entertainment provide a fun holiday atmosphere and experiences to remember.
I hope you enjoy your holiday season at the Merriest Place on Earth, Karen!
