I am in desperate need of help from someone who knows about the Disney cruise lines! We’re set to sail in 2 weeks and I’ve tried for days to get ahold of someone to help me with no luck! I need to know what to do about my reservation!

Ahoy there Aline! Welcome to planDisney! Have no fear, planDrew is here!

Sailing in two weeks! Wow, that's so soon! I'm so excited for you, but you've got questions so let's get some answers!

Without knowing exactly what you are hoping to do with your reservation, I'll start with my all-time, planDrew-approved checklist of what to know before you go! Ok, so it's actually Disney Cruise Line's checklist, but you're getting it direct from me here at planDisney!

First thing, if you haven't already, download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app! It will help you, well...navigate...the bulk of the next two weeks alongside the Disney Cruise Line website! Once you board, you'll use it to find out the schedule of activities that are happening around the ship, dinner menus, and all sorts of other magical things!

Now, my next suggestion is to start at the "Know Before You Go - Pre-Cruise Checklist!" Here, there's an outline of all the steps you want to be sure to take care of if you haven't already started! You'll be able to complete your Online Check-in, where you upload your Travel Documentation, a recent photo, and select a Port Arrival Time! Talk about an important step! The good news is this is a step-by-step process you'll be able to follow along with to be sure everything is all ship shape!

Once you're all checked-in, be sure to review the Safe Passage requirements. During this process, you'll verify your vaccination status, upload other required documents, and ensure you and your crew are cleared to sail! These are the two biggest procedures you'll want to take care of because they're absolutely essential to sail!

From there, I'd suggest double-checking your packing list, your travel plans, and making sure that you're ready to embark on the most incredible Disney vacation out there! Hopefully you've already booked your Onboard Activities and Port Adventures, but if not, it's not too late! There's so much to see and do on your Disney Cruise Line vacation that even if all you ever did was have fun aboard the ship, you'd have an amazing time!

I hope that gets your compass pointing in the right direction, Aline! Thank you so much for your question, and if you have any others as you navigate through the check-in process, please send me another message in a bottle here at planDisney!

    You're almost there!
