Hi Lauren. Welcome to planDisney. I'm happy to answer your question today!
It's important to note that at this time, if you are purchasing date-based tickets to the theme parks at the
Walt Disney World Resort, you do not need to make
Theme Park Reservations nor do you have to let anyone know which park you are visiting. However, if you have a ticket that is not date-based and need to make reservations, you can do so once your ticket is linked to your
My Disney Experience account. To do this, log into your account and select "My Plans" from the My Disney Experience menu. On this page, select the middle blue icon that has a Mickey inside of a ticket and says "Park Tickets" underneath. Click on "
Link Tickets," input your ID number from your confirmation email, and follow the prompts. Once linked, you can then make your Theme Park Reservations.
It seems like you are a Florida resident, and if that's the case, be sure to check to see if there are any
deals or discounts that you can take advantage of on your upcoming visit. The resort often has some great deals for its Guests who live closest to the parks, including exclusive
Annual Passes, hotel room deals, and even resident-specific tickets. While offers can change, there is usually something special for our Guests from the Sunshine State! Just note the
residency requirements and proof of residency required to take advantage of these deals. Also, be sure to
check out this recent Disney Parks Blog post about all of the exciting offerings coming to the resort (and beyond) in the new year! It's all
very exciting!
If you have any other questions, you can always
reach out to me and I'll get those answers for you!
