Derek, Thanks yet again! I'd hoped dd would choose Mama Melrose, but she asked for Garden Grill instead. Two places she definitely wants to try are Earl of Sandwich & Wolfgang Puck Express, so Downtown Disney is covered. QS suggestions (esp, DHS) pleas

    Hi Rochelle,

It was so nice to hear back from you!

As you probably know, the Quick-Service dining options at Disney's Hollywood Studios offer a nice variety for hungry guests.

If you're in the mood for a burger, do a flyby at Rosie's All American Cafe. If you have a hankerin' for some BBQ, follow the smell of smoky goodness over to Fairfax Fare. Or, if you want some healthier options, have your people call my people and schedule a power lunch at the Studio Catering Company.

Now, let me throw a couple of off-the-map options your way since you're a foodie like me!

Off-the-Map Spot #1 - The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge

The patio area outside of The Hollywood Brown Derby has just been converted to a walk-up lounge area where you can enjoy a tapas-style menu and a full selection of wines, beers, and cocktails. Even though the lounge's menu is different than the menu inside of the restaurant, I was able to sweet-talk one of the cast members into rigging up a Cobb Salad for me. However, the lounge menu is pretty impressive!

    Off-the-Map Spot #2 - The Tune-In Lounge

Most guests only stop by the Tune-In Lounge when they're in the mood for a tasty beverage while waiting for their table at the 50's Prime Time Cafe. However, the bartenders can also snag you any of the items from the 50's Prime Time Cafe menu. That's a great option if you're short on time, don't have a reservation, or you occasionally enjoy eating at a bar and making new friends.

Now, if the reason you're looking for Quick-Service spots was because you're looking to allocate your entitlements on the Disney Dining Plan, these two (very tasty) options won't work unfortunately.

I hope that helps! As you know, I LOVE talking about food, so please feel free to write back if you'd like to chat some more about your dining plans!

    Talk to you soon!

    Best regards,
    Derek
