Hi Derek! I can see that you and I share a passion: food!! I've made all my ADR's.However, I'd love to know your thoughts on the best quick service places to eat at each park for a family of 6 with a 6 yo boy and several newbies. Would you share?!

    Hi Nicole,

Thank you so much for sending your question my way! It's always fun to hear from other Disney foodies!!

Every quick-service restaurant holds a special place in my stomach....I mean, heart. So, I'll throw out one option from each theme park and see if we can get the party started:

    1) Magic Kingdom - Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe

I really dig the theming in there, especially the indoor "nighttime" courtyard. Plus, there are plenty of tables that should accommodate a family of 6.

As for the food, snag an Angus Cheeseburger and go nuts on the fixin's bar. (Don't forget to wash it down with a Root Beer Slush!)

    2) Epcot - Sunshine Seasons

I constantly rave about the restaurants around the World Showcase promenade. However, I feel like showing some love to Sunshine Seasons because they have something for everyone and seating is plentiful for large families. Plus, their strawberry shortcake is righteous!

    3) Disney's Hollywood Studios - Fairfax Fare

All I need to say is: Macaroni & Cheese and Truffle Oil Gourmet Hot Dog.

    SOLD!

    4) Disney's Animal Kingdom - Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes

This is a cool (and shady) spot with plenty of tables for large families. My pick is always the Honey Chicken and some pork egg rolls on the side (to keep my tray balanced, of course!).

Here's a bonus pick from your buddy Derek:

I'm head over heels for Tutto Gusto in Epcot's Italy pavilion. It's a more of a wine bar than a quick-service restaurant, but it's definitely worth checking out. The food is served tapas-style and they have some incredible wines by the glass.

    Wow, I'm hungry!!

I hope that helps and I'd definitely love to hear back from you if you'd like to bounce around a few more ideas!

    Bon Appetit.

    Best regards,
    Derek
