Derek, I've seen food ?'s for you, here's one more. I'll be there in 2 weeks and have been maintaining a healthy eating regimen. I'll be on the DDP and was wondering if you could suggest healthy food QS places at each park and Downtown Disney. Thx!!

    Hi Lisa,

Thank you so much for sending your question my way. I really appreciate it!

Before I talk about one of my favorite topics (the food at Walt Disney World!), I want to congratulate you on your commitment to a healthy diet.

I think you're going to be pleasantly surprised with the healthy food options at Walt Disney World. I'll start by sharing a few restaurant recommendations, but I'd love to hear back from you if you'd like a few others.

That being said, let's wash up and get ready for some good eats:

Magic Kingdom: Be Our Guest Restaurant (Lunch)

Of all the healthy options to choose from, their Quinoa Salad is my favorite. (I hope I'm not losing man-points for saying that I like quinoa!)

    Epcot: Sunshine Seasons

After taking a spin on the "Living with the Land" attraction, swing by Sunshine Seasons to enjoy some of the wonderful food you just saw growing. (They have some great fish options there!)

    Disney's Hollywood Studios: Backlot Express

Check out some cool props while enjoying their Grilled Vegetable Sandwich.

    Disney's Animal Kingdom: Pizzafari

Wait...what? They have a grilled chicken and vegetable pasta salad that'll be worth the journey!

    Downtown Disney: Wolfgang Puck Express

There are two locations in Downtown Disney, but the one in the Marketplace has a larger menu. Check out their salads!

Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

If you find yourself in need of a healthy snack, many of the carts, kiosks and shops have a wide assortment of fruits and veggies to much on!

I hope that helps! I'd love to hear from you if you should have any additional questions, so please feel free to write back!

    Best regards,
