Derek- I have a CRT @ 12 and BOG at 4. I can't bring myself to cancel either. Any tips on not wasting my second meal? Will they let me pack up what we can't finish? Thanks!

    Hi Lori!

It was really nice to hear back from you. I'm so glad that you were able to snag reservations for Cinderella's Royal Table and Be Our Guest Restaurant!

I'm also glad to hear that you decided to hang on to both of those reservations despite the four-hour gap between the two. The experience you'll get at each will certainly make up for it.

Just for fun, let me throw out a few ideas that come to mind:

#1 - As soon as you enter the Magic Kingdom that morning, make a beeline for the host/hostess stand at the entrance to Cinderella's Royal Table and ask if any cancellations have occurred that would allow you to get an earlier lunch reservation. It happens occasionally, so it never hurts to ask!

#2 - Do the same as above, but ask the host/hostesses at Be Our Guest Restaurant if any cancellations have opened up later dinner reservations. I have a friend who successfully pulled this maneuver off a few weeks ago.

#3 - With some restaurants, you can show up early for lunch and they can sometimes seat you before your reservation time rolls around. Cinderella's Royal Table is usually fully-booked every day, however, I was able to pull it off one time because there just happened to be a no-show. So, swing by an hour or so early and roll the dice.

Here's a bonus idea from your buddy Derek:

As you mentioned in your question, taking home a doggy bag is certainly an option if you have to stick with the four-hour gap and you're unable to finish your meal. If that's the case, you can always purchase an extra dessert and have your server wrap that up as well.

    (Midnight snack anyone??)

I hope that helps! Definitely write back if you have any other questions I can help with!!

    Talk to you soon!

    Best regards,
    Derek
