Derek, Just bought airline tickets for DD(24) & myself. Arriving at WDW a day early (shucks). Have to come up with one more meal (L or D). We already have ADRs for BOG-D, 1900-D, Tusker-B, Coral Reef-L, CRT-B, Sanaa-L & CM-D. Any suggestions? Thank

    Hi Rochelle,

Thanks for sending your message my way! I really appreciate it!

Squeezing in an extra day of vacation...I like your style!

After looking at your reservations (all of which look awesome), I see that you have good coverage at the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Animal Kingdom, and even some of the resort hotels. How about if I throw out some suggestions for restaurants at two spots that aren't on your list: Disney's Hollywood Studios and Downtown Disney.

    Disney's Hollywood Studios:

My first love is The Hollywood Brown Derby. When I have dinner there, it's always bookended with their famous Cobb Salad to start and a slice of their equally famous Grapefruit Cake for dessert. No matter the entree I choose, I always find something awesome and an incredible glass of wine to go with it.

A close runner-up is the 50's Prime Time Cafe. It's not billed as a character dining experience, but the cast members are a bunch of characters in their own right. It's tons of fun and they have one of my favorite desserts of all time (the Boston Creme Parfait).

    Downtown Disney:

There are so many awesome restaurants in Downtown Disney, but the one that I'm craving the most right now is Fulton's Crab House. I would stand on my desk and do an Irish Jig if it meant I could have an order of their Seafood Cioppino magically appear!

Speaking of Irish Jigs, another awesome restaurant to put on your radar is Raglan Road. In my opinion, they've broken the stereotype of Irish Pubs only being about beer and mediocre bar food. Nope, they took their dance shoes and kicked the menu up to notches previously unknown by run of the mill Irish pubs.

Wow, I'm hungry now! If you'd like to hear a few more suggestions, or want the scoop on other restaurants, please feel free to write back and I'll be more than happy to keep the conversation going!

    Best regards,
    Derek
