I am so depressed that we are staying at Caribbean Beach. We have always stayed at the Yacht and Beach Club or Boardwalk. We are going with relatives this time and Caribbean Beach is their choice. Can you tell me anything that is rewarding about CB?

Hi there, Virginia. Welcome to planDisney.

Virginia, I am SO happy you stopped by to ask this question! I, too, am a creature of habit. Just this morning, like Rapunzel, it was "seven A.M., the usual morning lineup. Start on the chores and sweep until the floor's all clean. Polish and wax, do laundry, and mop and shine up. Sweep again, and by then it's like 7:15." And when choosing my Resort hotels, I always stayed in my favorites, never venturing out of my usual lineup, and Disney's Yacht Club was definitely on that list. But like Rapunzel and her lanterns, I've realized, "At last, I see the light!" I've discovered that exploring different Resort hotels is just as fun as visiting the theme parks. Now, I switch between value, moderate, deluxe, and club level hotels and rooms all the time, enjoying the most magical experiences at each! So, let's talk about Disney's Caribbean Beach and all the fun you are going to have! YAY!

Virginia, it just so happens that I was at the Caribbean Beach this past weekend. It was conveniently situated on the Disney Skyliner, which was a wonderful advantage! The walking paths were absolutely beautiful. You'll find five leisure pools with fantastic theming, too!

Another great feature about this hotel is that you can access their "Activities Schedule" online to plan your days in advance. Whether it be poolside activities, dancing at an island party, attending their Caribbean Glow Festival, or enjoying a Caribbean Campfire, you'll find plenty of fun activities to create perfect magical moments during Resort hotel days!

Now, let's talk about the food! Oh my goodness, I can't wait to tell you about the meal I had this past weekend. Dinner at Sebastian's Bistro was sand-sational. The house-baked rolls with guava butter were amazing! My friends ordered the traditional menu with oven-roasted chicken, pork, beef, and fish. I opted for the plant-based menu, which was just as delicious. I can't find enough words to describe how good the coconut-pineapple bread pudding with caramel and ice cream was. YUM! Also, we happened to schedule a late dinner, and as a bonus, we could see the EPCOT fireworks outside the windows of the restaurant!

One final advantage of staying at this Resort is its convenience for visiting other nearby hotels. If dining at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, Yachtsman Steakhouse, or Cape May Café is a tradition for you, a quick Skyliner ride will take you to the Beach Club or Yacht Club to enjoy one of your favorites. And Disney's Riviera Resort is just around the riverbend, making a breakfast reservation at Topolino's Terrace easy to manage.

Virginia, I sincerely hope you are no longer depressed and you are feeling all the enchanting island vibes of your magical stay! Anytime you are in the magic, you are where you're meant to be! Please let us know if we can help you again. You are always welcome at planDisney!

    Have the BEST DAYS EVER!
