Is a deposit required in order to reserve accommodations 499 days in advance?

    Hi, Eric!

When making a reservation 499 days out by phone, this will need to be a "room only" reservation. The deposit will be the estimate of one night's stay.  The price of your stay cannot be guaranteed until the rates are officially posted for that year. So if you are looking to book for late 2017, the rates cannot be confirmed until probably late March/early April 2016.

Once rates are posted for 2017, you can switch your reservation to a package to include tickets and the Disney Dining Plan if you wish. You would need to call to upgrade your reservation.

There is not a huge need to book this far out unless you really want to lock in your travel dates or if you have a very specific resort and/or room type that you think will be difficult to get. Otherwise, sit tight and rates will be posted soon.  If you still want to get a reservation, call (407)W-DISNEY and a friendly Cast Member will be happy to book your magical resort stay.

Mickey and his pals look forward to seeing you real soon!
