Hi! Is the $200 deposit refundable if we cannot go? Thanks Trish Ontario Canada

    Welcome to planDisney, Patricia!

As Ursula sarcastically reminds us, "Life's full of tough choices, isn't it?" And unfortunately, one of those tough choices might be deciding to cancel a much-anticipated Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

Currently, Disney allows Guests to cancel a vacation package and receive a full refund if the cancellation is made 30 days or more before your scheduled arrival. If you need to cancel between 2 and 29 days beforehand, you'll still get a refund, but there's a $200 cancellation fee per room. Cancellations made one day before arrival or later—including no-shows—are non-refundable. Just note that packages booked through third-party sites or tied to special promotions might follow different policies.

To cancel, simply call the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line. Whilst cancellations can't be completed online, a friendly Cast Member will gladly assist you and go over your available options.

Cheers, Patricia. TTFN, ta-ta for now.
