Hi! Is the $200 deposit only refundable if you cancel? Or is the deposit used against your total balance if you do not have to cancel?

    Hi, Brooke!

A $200 deposit is required to hold a Walt Disney World resort package.  This is refundable up until 45 days prior to your vacation.  At 45 days, the balance of your vacation is due in full.   For refund policies and specifics, speak to a Disney reservationist at (407)W-DISNEY when booking your vacation.

If you book through a travel agency, an online broker, or other service, you may have different policies.  Wherever you book, make sure you fully understand the booking/cancellation procedures before confirming your vacation.

Have fun planning your magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
